On August 20, 2025, the WTT European Grand Slam continues with the singles round of 16, men's and women's doubles round of 16, and mixed doubles quarterfinals. Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, and other Chinese team members will participate in seven matches, with live coverage on CCTV-5.

Tomorrow’s schedule is divided into evening and late-night sessions, as detailed in the chart below.

1. Team China will play four matches in the evening session, with details as follows.
2. At 6 PM tomorrow, on Table 1, Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu will compete in women’s doubles.
3. At 8:20 PM tomorrow, on Table 1, Sun Yingsha will face Yuan Jianan in women’s singles.
4. At 7:10 PM tomorrow, on Table 2, Chen Xingtong will play against Pavade in women’s singles.
5. At 8:20 PM tomorrow, on Table 4, Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng will take on Lebrun/Poret in men's doubles.

• CCTV-5+ and Yangshipin will broadcast the matches of Sun Yingsha/Wang Manyu and Chen Xingtong live starting at 6 PM tomorrow.

Match Preview

1. Tomorrow, Team China is expected to win around 4 to 5 out of their seven matches.
2. In the evening session, Sun Yingsha/Wang Manyu and Chen Xingtong, as well as Sun Yingsha, are certain to win and advance to the next round.For men’s doubles, Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng’s outcome is uncertain; if they perform at their usual level, they may be eliminated. They must play exceptionally well to win and move forward. Personally, I estimate their chances of advancing are about 40%.
3. In the late-night session, Chen Yi is certain to win and progress to the next round.Chen Yuanyu is unlikely to win unless he delivers an outstanding performance during the match. His probability of advancing is about 30%.Wen Ruibo is almost certain to lose against Hugo, since even Wang Chuqin may not be able to defeat Hugo, let alone Wen Ruibo.
