Ho Chi Minh City Police dominated Da Nang, ready to compete for the championship in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

Ho Chi Minh City Police maintained their impressive performance at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship by comfortably beating Da Nang 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 27-25), starting phase two on a positive note.

Ho Chi Minh City Police are ready to vie for the championship against Bien Phong MB.

With a well-balanced and much more experienced roster, the team from the city named after Uncle Ho quickly dominated the game from the very beginning.

Attackers such as Tu Thanh Thuan, Nguyen Hoang Thuong, and Le Quang Khanh took turns scoring points, guided by the smooth coordination of veteran setter Giang Van Duc—recently added in phase two replacing Thoai Khuong.

Thanks to Giang Van Duc’s agile ball distribution, the wing attacks and quick sets from Ho Chi Minh City Police consistently pressured Da Nang’s blockers, causing them significant trouble.

Ho Chi Minh City Police easily defeated Da Nang 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 27-25) in the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

The first two sets displayed the complete superiority of coach Bui Huy Cham’s team, who barely gave their opponents a chance to catch up, ending with scores of 25-16 and 25-21.

In the third set, Da Nang fought back more vigorously, especially thanks to the energetic main attacker Le Cong Tuan Huy—who scored the most points for the Han River team. However, the toughness and determination of Ho Chi Minh City Police helped them overcome the difficult moments to finish the match with a tight 27-25 victory.

This result extended Ho Chi Minh City Police’s winning streak to six and kept them leading the table with 17 points. They are expected to contest the championship with Bien Phong MB—another unbeaten team in the group stage. The final clash between these two teams promises to be an early "final" of this phase.

Conversely, despite losing 0-3, Da Nang’s chances of making the top four remain wide open. After six matches, they have two wins, four losses, and currently hold 7 points, ranking fourth. The Han River team will face Sanest Khanh Hoa in the final round on October 9.

Their direct rival, LPBank Ninh Binh, currently has 6 points and two remaining matches, including a challenging game against Bien Phong MB. If Ninh Binh does not achieve a favorable result, Da Nang is likely to retain their top-four position.

With consistent form and superior squad depth, Ho Chi Minh City Police are establishing themselves as the top contenders for this year’s national championship.
