CLB Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai failed to reach the semifinals of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship after Binh chủng Thông Tin - BĐ 19 defeated LBBank Ninh Bình 3-1 today (October 8). This marks a forgettable season for Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai, who, after five straight finals appearances and runner-up finishes, could not sustain their usual form.

It is even more regrettable that this season, Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai will remain unable to break their long-standing title drought.

The injury of main attacker Tú Linh has greatly affected the team’s gameplay and attacking power. Following this season, Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai will need to implement changes and adjustments to perform better in the next season.

Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai’s star middle blocker, Trần Thị Bích Thủy, will join Japan’s Okayama Seagulls after the conclusion of phase 2.

Meanwhile, the four women’s volleyball teams qualified for the 2025 National Championship semifinals are LPBank Ninh Bình, VTV Bình Điền Long An, Binh chủng Thông Tin - BĐ 19, and Vietinbank.

With Bích Tuyền absent, LPBank Ninh Bình’s chances of competing for the championship have clearly decreased. Meanwhile, VTV Bình Điền Long An, coached by Ngọc Hoa, faces significant challenges if they aim to win this year. Under these circumstances, Binh chủng Thông Tin emerges as a strong favorite for the title. Vietinbank, led by coach Tuấn Kiệt, impressed by securing a semifinal spot for the first time in five years, thanks to the excellent performances of Anna Belianskaia and Vi Thị Như Quỳnh.

Phase 2 of the Vietnamese National Volleyball Championship takes place in Ninh Bình from October 7 to 16, featuring 16 teams (8 men’s, 8 women’s). Teams will complete the group stage by October 10 to determine rankings and relegation spots before the semifinals on October 12-13. The men’s final is scheduled for October 15, and the women’s final will close the tournament on October 16.
