Revealed: 6 Vietnamese Female Volleyball Players Confirmed for SEA Games 2025
Coach Tuấn Kiệt has not released the official list for Vietnam’s women’s volleyball team attending SEA Games 2025, but six players are considered confirmed.
Which six female volleyball stars are guaranteed to participate in SEA Games 2025?
Official roster forSEA Games 2025of Vietnam’s women’s volleyball team, consisting of 14 players, will be selected from 19 athletes training in Vĩnh Long along with two overseas stars, Trần Thị Thanh Thúy and Trần Thị Bích Thủy.
Among these 21 players, six are regarded as sure to be included in Coach Tuấn Kiệt’s official list. They are outside hitters Thanh Thúy and Như Quỳnh, libero Khánh Đang, setter Lâm Oanh, opposite hitter Kiều Trinh, and middle blocker Bích Thủy.
These are the stars considered guaranteed to attend SEA Games 2025.
Why these six players?
Thanh Thúy is the most internationally experienced player, having participated in five SEA Games, with an ideal height (1.90m), possessing well-rounded skills from first touch, defense, to net attack and back-row hitting. She is also the team’s spirit leader, so naturally, she is indispensable.
Như Quỳnh, born in 2002, is young and strong, mentally prepared, with powerful spikes and abundant stamina. She can serve with jump serves, has proven her talent in many tournaments, performs well in big and tough matches, and especially has a strong record against Thailand’s team. These reasons make her an essential player for the national team.
Khánh Đang has been Vietnam’s top libero for many years. Although her form isn’t always at its peak, this Long An native remains the best defensive expert in Vietnam’s women’s volleyball currently. Her first-touch reception is among the best in the national team.
