The Vietnamese volleyball transfer market in 2026 continues to be vibrant with major contract signings.
At least 5 Vietnamese female volleyball players have already joined or will join new clubs during the lively transfer period at the start of 2026.
The year 2025 ended with many players’ contracts expiring with their parent clubs. Top names in the national women's volleyball scene didn't take long to find new teams, surprising many fans.
Newcomer to the 2026 National Volleyball Championship - Hanoi Tasco Auto, backed by strong investment from a new sponsor has brought in high-quality players, including middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy - the flag bearer for Vietnam’s delegation at SEA Games 33, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh - one of the top scorers currently, and Nguyen Khanh Dang - the first choice libero of coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet for the national team.
In the case of Nhu Quynh, who is currently playing abroad for Medan Falcons (Indonesia), the attacker from Nghe An will still be able to participate in the first phase of the national championship held in Dong Anh, Hanoi in April with the newcomer club.
Similarly to Khanh Dang, another star saying goodbye to the club she has been with since the start of her career is Nguyen Thi Uyen. The attacker born in 1999 left Geleximco Hung Yen to join LPB Ninh Binh - a familiar destination as she was previously loaned there to strengthen their offensive lineup.
Regarding Luu Thi Hue - a middle blocker recently recalled to the national team for SEA Games 33, she will definitely leave LPB Ninh Binh, though it remains unclear which team the Ha Nam native will play for in the next season.
Additionally, former national player Nguyen Thi Kim Lien also parted ways with the reigning national championship runner-up to join XMLS Thanh Hoa.
The only two clubs in the national championship that confirmed no domestic player signings at the start of this season are VTV Binh Dien Long An and Thong Tin - Dong Bac. Both clubs have strong youth academies dominating Vietnam’s youth tournaments in recent years.
