Set 1: VTV BDLA 25-22 BCTT

A set with extremely tense and nail-biting developments. Thong Tin-Dong Bac started the set better, but VTV Binh Dien Long An quickly returned with effective secondary attacks. Mid-set, Thong Tin surged ahead again, but two consecutive good serves by Ortiz brought the match back to equilibrium.

A relatively dominant set by VTV Binh Dien Long An, Thanh Thuy's excellence in both attack and defense facilitated the defending champions' impressive scoring streak. The gap widened with many match-points for Coach Ngoc Hoa's team.

However, similar to previous matches, Long An's ability to finish the match/set is truly a major issue. The defending champions continuously lost points, allowing Thong Tin-Dong Bac to reach 21 points, but fortunately no unexpected changes occurred.
