BC Thong Tin led 22-20 at one point and had the chance to close the set, but VTV Binh Dien Long An scored 5 consecutive points by capitalizing on opponents' first-step errors and defensive weaknesses to reverse the set 25-22.

In Set 2, BC Thong Tin performed better, establishing a 6-point lead. Despite VTV Binh Dien Long An's efforts to narrow the gap, BC Thong Tin maintained their advantage thanks to effective attacking, winning 25-21 to equalize the score at 1-1.
