About the AVC Cup 2026 volleyball tournament
The 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Cup will be held from June 6 to June 14 in the Philippines, featuring 12 top Asian teams: Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Taiwan (China), and Hong Kong (China). This is considered one of the most important continental women's volleyball events of the year, where teams have the chance to assert their standing and prepare for larger international competitions in the future.
According to the competition format, the 12 teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes Philippines, Taiwan (China), South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Group B consists of Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), and Lebanon. Teams play a single round-robin to earn points, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals. The remaining teams will compete in placement matches for positions 5 through 12.
