Set 1: Vietnam 25-17 Kazakhstan
Starting with high determination, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team quickly took the lead thanks to the outstanding performance of Bich Thuy. A consistent gap of 3-5 points was maintained afterward as Kazakhstan frequently mishandled situations and squandered opportunities. We seized the chances well to steadily increase the margin and secured an impressive victory in set 1, taking a 1-0 lead.
Set 2: Vietnam 25-12 Kazakhstan
Set 2 was entirely dominated by the Vietnamese women's volleyball players. Consecutive scoring runs allowed Thanh Thuy and her teammates to pull far ahead and create a double-digit lead by the middle of the set. Kazakhstan offered no resistance, and Vietnam extended their lead to 2-0 with a commanding 13-point victory.
Set 3: Vietnam 25-19 Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan posed more challenges from the beginning of the set, but overall, the game remained under the control of Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's squad. We pulled ahead midway through the set with effective play and maintained the advantage until the final points. Vietnam finished third overall at this year's AVC Cup, marking the first time Thanh Thuy and her teammates have won a bronze medal in this tournament after three consecutive years on the top podium.
Final result: Vietnam defeated Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-17; 25-12; 25-19).
